Choosy about Crystals

Qualities, generally agreed through healing practice over the centuries, are usually attributed to certain crystals. For example, amethyst, blue tiger’s eye, and black tourmaline, are typically considered to be “protective” from negativity. Others are considered “energizing” such as clear quartz and aventurine; while others are recommended as “calming” (blue-lace agate); or “grounding” and include red jasper and hematite. Some crystals have multiple uses: amethyst is both protective and calming and also increases “perception“. Other crystals are associated with “attracting” (for example, rhodonite or rose quartz for love; and citrine for wealth). Each crystal type will typically have qualities assigned to it but, if you google (and I’m sure you will), it will soon be seen that there is a significant margin for variation. So, while this is helpful, it is always important to choose crystals intuitively or by using a pendulum, on every single occasion. Each crystal has its own unique vibration that will resonate differently with the equally unique energy of individuals (a little like the way perfume interacts on different people).
